Description
Great opportunity to join a great team! We are looking for Part Time Occupational Therapists for our Kaleidoscope Early Intervention Program. The Occupational Therapist will provide evaluation and occupational therapy for children in their homes throughout Union County, or otherwise designated setting, according to the goals in the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and assist in the formulation of goals and objectives with the Direct Service Team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments and reports as requested.
  • Assist in the formulation of goals and objectives as assigned.
  • Develop appropriate home-based/parent training program/treatment.
  • Prepare daily notes, quarterly progress reports, annual reviews and summaries and all other required documentation.
  • Provide instruction to family concerning appropriate techniques of occupational therapy.
  • Attend meetings to provide updates, reports, etc.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, directions and changes as it relates to the delivery of occupational therapy services.
  • Participate in in-service programs as requested.
Qualifications
  • NJ License as Occupational Therapist
  • Experience in providing occupational therapy to persons with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Ability to lift, transfer, move, handle children.
