Description
We are looking for a part time Teacher of Students with Disabilities to provide high quality, age appropriate in-home instruction in our Kaleidoscope Early Intervention Program. This role will oversee the development and implementation of an Individualized Family Service Plan that meets the cognitive, developmental and social needs of all students. 


Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and safeguard each family/child’s right to privacy, respect and confidentiality.
  • Implement Individualized Family Service Plan goals and objectives by creating lessons that are stimulating, high quality, and age appropriate. 
  • Maintain all required paperwork including visitation log, progress notes and time sheets.
  • Attend and participate in conferences and workshops to document professional growth and development.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, directions and changes within the area of Early Intervention Services
  • Perform additional related duties as requested by the Program Director.


Qualifications
  • NJ Certified Teacher of the Handicapped/Teacher of Students w/ Disabilities
  • At least one year experience in an Early Childhood Center or Early Intervention
  • Experience working with children with developmental disabilities
  • Valid NJ drivers license in good standing
