Responsibilities

• Safely transport all students, as assigned, in accordance with all CPL policies and DMV regulations.
• Ensure vehicle is in safe running order at all times.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians.
• Accurately maintain mileage logs of the assigned vehicle.
• Oversee the Driver Assistant to assure safety and proper care of all assigned students.
• Assist students in program area as directed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience transporting students who have physical disabilities
• Ability to read maps, follow verbal and written direction
• Current valid NJ Commercial Drivers License (CDL) in good standing, Class B with Passenger and School endorsements
